What actually decides whether it works
Price is the easy part. These are the points that decide whether a small factory makes money.
Secure the raw material before the machine
A toilet paper line needs jumbo rolls, a soap line needs oils and caustic, a nail line needs wire. Price and secure your raw material supply in South Africa first; the machine is useless without it.
Size to what you can sell
Start with the output you can sell in the first year, with a line you can add to. An idle big line costs more than a busy small one.
Quote the whole line, not one machine
A rewinder without a log saw and wrapper, or a soap mixer without a cutter and stamper, does not make a product. We quote everything from raw material to packed product, so nothing is missing on arrival.
Check the product's standard and labelling
Some products you make, like cleaning chemicals and hygiene products, have labelling rules or standards of their own. Check before you commit, so the product can go on a retailer's shelf.
These lines suit funding applications
Many small manufacturers use funding to start. We give formal, itemised quotations for the complete line on our letterhead, with prices from the manufacturer in writing.
You're trading the dealer network for the price
That's the honest trade. There is no branded technician on call. Keep blades, belts, moulds and seals on the shelf, and have the manufacturer train your operators during commissioning.

What does it take to start a toilet paper factory?
A rewinding line with a log saw and packing, a supply of jumbo rolls, a small factory space and three-phase power. We quote the complete line sized to your output and tell you the power and space it needs.
Can you quote for a funding application?
Yes. We give formal, itemised quotations for the complete line, with prices confirmed by the manufacturer in writing.
Who trains my staff?
The manufacturer can send an engineer to commission the line and train operators, at a daily rate plus travel, priced as a separate line. Many also provide training videos.
Do you supply the raw materials?
Our focus is the machinery, but we can source raw materials through our sourcing-on-request service. Local supply is often better for regular raw materials.
