I'm Sam. I was born into a family business.

It started as a chain of supermarkets, with bakeries, butcheries and fast food counters inside them. It grew from there — property, renovation, demolition and construction. Farming, across most of what farming involves. Our own engineering and fabricating firm. Hardware stores. Block and brick making yards. Production plants turning out processed foods and meats. It is still growing.

The ovens and spiral mixers are the ones in our bakeries. The mincers, bandsaws and cold rooms are in our butcheries and our meat plants. The block machines are in our own yards. The lathes and welders are in our own workshop. The tractors and implements are on our own land.

That is not a sales line. It is where the knowledge comes from. We know which machines last, which are a false economy, and which spare part you will be hunting for in year two — because we have bought the wrong one before and paid for it.

Buying at that scale, we kept working back up the supply chain: past the dealer, past the importer, to the factory that actually built the machine. Contacts became relationships. Eventually it meant travelling to stand on factory floors and see how these machines are really made.

Most buyers never get that. The barriers are real — distance, language, minimum orders, freight, customs, and knowing which factory is worth talking to at all. Tryg exists to carry that so you don't have to.

We know quality grading. The same factory builds the same machine at three different levels, and the difference is invisible in a photograph. Knowing which one you are being offered is most of this job.

We are not another middleman. A middleman puts himself between you and the factory and charges you for the privilege. We are doing the opposite — putting you as close to that factory as you can get without flying there yourself.

I keep the family business's name off this page on purpose. When you are serious about an order, ask, and I will tell you who we are and what we run — on a call, not on a website. I would expect the same discretion about your business, and you will get it.
