What actually decides whether it works
Price is the easy part. These are the points that decide whether the vehicle is legal to ride and still has range after a year.
Road vehicles need approval and registration
A vehicle used on public roads needs its model approved for South Africa and must be registered and licensed. Many electric scooters and higher-powered e-bikes count as motor vehicles. We confirm the position for each model before quoting, and label private-use products clearly.
The battery is most of the value
Range and life depend on the cells and the battery management system. Ask the cell grade and chemistry, the real capacity, and the cycle life in writing, and treat a vague answer as an answer.
Lithium batteries ship as dangerous goods
Batteries have strict shipping rules, especially by air. We ship vehicles and batteries by sea under the correct rules and check the forwarder can handle them.
Match the vehicle to the job
A delivery rider needs range, a load rack and quick charging or battery swaps; an estate needs quiet, low-speed carts. Tell us the daily distance and load and we match the vehicle.
Conversions are measured, not guessed
A lithium pack must fit the forklift's battery compartment and match its voltage and counterweight. We work from the battery nameplate and compartment size with the manufacturer.
You're trading the dealer network for the price
That's the honest trade. There is no branded service network. Keep spare controllers, chargers, tyres and brake parts on hand, and use a local technician who understands electric drives.

Can I ride these on public roads?
Only if the model is approved and the vehicle registered, where the law requires it. We confirm the position for each model before quoting and say clearly which products are for private use only.
How far will a delivery bike go on a charge?
It depends on the battery, the load and the riding. We ask the manufacturer for a realistic range under load, not the best-case figure, and can quote spare batteries for swapping.
Can you convert our forklifts to lithium?
Yes, with a manufacturer who builds the pack to your forklift's compartment and voltage. Send us a photo of the current battery nameplate and the compartment size.
Do you supply fleets?
Yes. Fleets of bikes, scooters or carts, with spare batteries, chargers and parts, are where factory-direct pricing makes the most difference.
