Recovery depends on the ore, so we ask for a sample test before we size a plant. We supply licensed operations only, and we do not supply mercury equipment.

What actually decides whether it works
Price is the easy part. These are the points that decide how much of the mineral you actually recover.
Test the ore before you buy the plant
How fine the ore must be ground, and whether gravity, flotation or leaching recovers it, depends on your ore. A sample test at a laboratory or at the manufacturer is the cheapest money you will spend. We size from the result, not from a brochure.
We supply licensed operations only
Mining and processing in South Africa need the right permit or licence under the minerals legislation. We ask for it before we quote. We do not supply mercury amalgamation equipment, which is dangerous and illegal to use.
Liners, hammers and media are the running cost
Ore is abrasive and wear parts are consumed. Ask the manufacturer for the expected life of liners, hammers and screens on your ore, and order a first set of spares with the plant.
Most processes need a lot of water
Milling, tables and flotation all use water, and dry areas need thickeners and recycling. Tell us your water supply and we size recovery into the plant.
Plan security for the concentrate
Concentrators and smelting equipment produce a small, valuable product. Choose equipment with lockable discharge, and plan who handles the concentrate.
You're trading the dealer network for the price
That's the honest trade. There is no branded technician on standby at a remote site. Keep a full set of wear parts on hand, buy on standard motors and bearings, and budget for a local fitter or the manufacturer's engineer for commissioning.

What plant do I need for gold?
It depends on the ore: free gold can often be recovered by gravity, while fine or refractory gold may need flotation or leaching. A sample test answers it. Send us the test results or we can put you in touch with a laboratory.
Do I need a licence to buy this equipment?
To use it, yes. We ask for your mining or processing permit or licence before quoting, and supply licensed operations only.
Do you supply mercury or amalgamation kits?
No. Mercury is dangerous to the people using it and to the environment, and its use in gold processing is illegal here. Gravity concentration is the safer route for free gold.
Do you install?
Delivery is in the landed price. Installation is by a local contractor using the maker's layout; for a complete plant the manufacturer can send engineers to commission it at a daily rate plus travel.
